    Business Partners?

I have a business associate who seems exceedingly negative. Constantly speaking about how our mutual goals are unreachable, and reminding me always, precisely how little a chance we have of making our dreams come true.

It's really frustrating, and after a long, hard day of working nonstop on that dream, it's depressing too.

I feel miserable every time we get done visiting and working together on the project, and it takes time for me to get back to the positive thinking that prompted me to embark on this mission; but I need their help, experience, and contacts to have any chance of truly succeeding, and I'm unsure of the results of both action, and inaction.

I worry that if I talk to them that they may just decide to stop helping me at all, at which point I may be lost, and have to regroup before I can begin pushing forward once more.

Tomorrow we have another meeting, and I plan to tell this person that I need them to be positive in all of our cooperative efforts, especially in recruiting others to help with the hard work ahead of us, or I simply can not rely on them to be motivated, or motivating, enough to handle their part in this effort.

I sure hope it doesn't go bad.

Hope that after you talk to them they can be more positive.
