Chopping Block

Yeah, mom had surgery. We spent most of the day at the hospital waiting with her to either be taken to the operation, or waiting with her in recovery so we could take her home.

We were so tired by the time we finally did get home, that we all passed right out, and I neglected my blogging.

Ladybug has spent the past couple of days with her father, who picked her up from her very first "teen night after hours" at the local library. She's having a lot of fun at his place. I can't wait to see what she did at teen night.

Today we went to a drumming at another local library, and went out to dinner with mom for her birthday meal. She's feeling a lot better today, but her incision site is still pretty tender. We're taking good care of her. *smile*

We did something else, but that lovely tale will have to wait for another day.

** Update on the ongoing dramas: No, I haven't heard anything about the new place except that the apartment people haven't heard a thing from the gov office. No, the people from the gas station haven't called me back either.
