    Preserving Our Economy

I just received notification that Roy Blunt, my representative, voted to destroy network neutrality and allow big money to purchase the ability for their sites to load faster than everyone else's.

In today's gotta-have-it-now world, this means that small businesses, bloggers, personal websites, and even your local library will be left in the slow lane. That means less views, less customers, less money going to small local companies, and almost a literal destruction of the small businesses that foster and form our real economy.

I am very disappointed. But then again, what can we expect from a man who recently won an award for upholding HIS beliefs and not letting anyone sway his vote (even his constituents).

This man sickens me to no end. This primary, I'm getting a Republican ballot and voting for Midge Potts. She's an activist, a veteran, and a regular low income person, and she really listens to & cares about what we think about the issues close to our hearts (no matter what they may be). If you live in Blunt's district, I suggest you do the same. Vote for someone who is a regular citizen, just like you, and see the changes that happen in congress! The only way to take back this country is to speak your mind. Recycle government, vote for Midge, and make your voice heard!

"recycle government" - that is a great line. i don't understand how republicans can preach free market economy and give enormous breaks to big businesses in the same breath.

It is time to move BEYOND "political parties" and return our government to the People of whom American democracy is purported to have been derived.
