*sings & does a happy dance* I got the car fixed! My dear friend Faith came over on a moment's notice to take me to pick it up, then we had coffee and visited for a while, which was wonderful, as we haven't been able to just sit and visit for a while.
Later, Moosie came by and visited with the family for a bit as well. They're buying the most lovely little house for her family, and I am so excited to be able to share in their joy.
Not much else to write about today. The kids were lovely all day, we had a couple of small things that could have turned into disputes, but they handled it very well.
For dinner, we made a new something that I like to call barbecue chili. It is the result of not having tomato sauce in the house when we started cooking and using BBQ sauce as a replacement, but it turned out really tasty. *chuckle*
We have a car again! *grin*

Someday when you have time(LOL) you should write a cookbook of all your creations.
I'm planning on it. *smile* I am actually in the process of writing down all of my recipes so that I may do just that once I have enough of my own recipes gathered to produce what i would call a cookbook worth buying. *chuckle*
if you are done making your cookbook, try to memorized the simple recipes, so you would never need a guide anymore.
Troubled Teen,
That's the obstacle I'm having. *chuckle* I'm a dump cook, so taking the time to measure everything I add to my family's favorite recipes so I can write them down is a bit foreign to me.
Congrats for getting the car fixed. Come visit soon, ya hear! :-)
