    Playing Taxi To Mommy

I spent most of the day playing taxi to my mother. She was raised in Florida, thus is sore afeared to drive when it is wet and freezing, sleeting, snowing, or any combination of the aforementioned. She had an appointment with her physical therapist and got to take her heart monitor off. (They were running a 48 hour test on her heart) I went shopping while she was doing her thing, and didn't buy but fifteen of the three things I went looking for. (yes, I wrote that right). One of the items, I decided not to buy! *laugh* Again, I am the bad frugal mommy.

After we got done with her errands, she bought us all Chinese for dinner and we came back to her place to eat. A little later, we saw The Lone Meecey (a regular winter visitor at my mother's), and marveled at how cute he was for a while as he cautiously attempted to cross the hallway. Of course, then he tried to enter my mother's bedroom, and she doesn't want him there, so I hollered "booga booga" really loud and deep at it and it ran back into the hall closet from whence it came. (There's a vent in there that opens directly to the underside of the house for some odd reason, and that's where they get in.) Of course, my mother said she should've still been wearing the heart monitor for that one, because she wasn't expecting me to do that, and she swears her heart skipped a beat. *chuckle*

Keeb and I popped over to his mother's house for a bit and fixed her internet connection /again/, then filled up the gas tank and came on home to blog and sleep.

Big plans for monotonous repetition tomorrow!

Hate to burst your bubble, but the Lone Meecy is a misnomer. There is never only one, they just all look alike. Why, it's breeding right now as I type.

Don't know what a "Lone Meecey" is, but I'm happy it didn't hurt anyone.

Psychicgeek, Yeah I know. I actually think we have two meecies, and despite my preference for trap and release, this is my mother's house, so we just put down some poison. The lone meecey and his girlfriend won'/t be with us for much longer. They're buddies in the garage are being terribly inconvenienced as well, and may need to find another place to live, or suffer a similar fate. Time will tell.

Duh! I just thought of the meaning of "meecey". Took me a while, but I figured it out. LOL. Hope it and any other will no longer be a problem in the near future.

Wow, looking at my last comment, I realize I was too tired to type. *blush* Wow,that grammar and misuse of contractions drove me crazy rereading. *laugh*

Rambleman, I sorries I didn't tell you what a lone meecey is. I guess I missed that question.

In case anyone else is wondering, a meecey is a mousey is a mouse. *grin*
