    Basement Fun

Written from the basement of the local public library.

When we heard the tornado sirens, we left the relatively unsafe place we were, and went to the library. We figured that we'd get a study room and watch Heroes, but things turned out much differently. See, the library has a policy that all people coming to the library while the sirens are on have to either stay out in the parking lot or go down to the basement.

Tornado warning has given the all clear, so back upstairs we go. Shutting down for travel.

    Back upstairs.

Okay, now where was I? Oh yeah!

Needless to say, we guessed that the basement would have good WiFi and maybe a fun story or two as well, so down we went. *wink* Ladybug met three other girls her age and they had an absolute blast, Littlebit met a new friend and played with the older kids a bit, teaching them new clapping songs, and I alternately worked on reading my email, helped a girl with her homework, and checked the National Weather Service's website for updates on the severe weather notice.

It was worth the trip, but now we're back upstairs and I get to cue up the show. *grin*
