    How Many Hands?

Puled up to a woman at a stoplight today who was smoking and talking on the phone at the same time, using up both hands. I pulled up a little closer and asked her if she drove with her nose. *laugh* She thought it was funny too, but even when the light changed, I never saw her put a hand on the wheel. *boggle*

Picked up B to go get & cash his paycheck and then go shopping. I think the heat index does something to the intelligence of the drivers on the road. Too many really dumb or agressive (or both) drivers on the road again today.

Oh, and I slept for only 2 hours. I'm REALLY tired!

Finally took a nap after I wrote that above, then woke up to work on the garden some more. I have to make it look like a place where elitist people would ejoy getting their food from instead of a working garden for the event on Saturday. (Not that I expect elitist people, but I say you should always cater to the pickiest customer in business, that way, those who aren't as picky don't really care, and you manage to not to loose a single one. *laugh*) By tomorrow afternoon's nap, the garden should look nearly pristine. I have the refreshments all prepared. now we work, and wait. If not enough people show up to the event, I'll just have to advertise an open house and schedule the vermicomposting workshop in some other way. *smile* No worries.

I'm thinking that woman is an expert knee driver, like my dad *shudder*.

I've been nearly hit by people on cell phones more than you could imagine. I don't know if the phone and hand is blocking some critical peripheral vision, if they're horribly distracted, or if IQ points are temporarily relocated to their mouths while talking, but driving + cell = bad, bad, bad.

I must also work on my garden. Dying plants aren't very inviting to the odd visiting elitist or just about anyone else who walks up my front step :P

Yeah, Rain and I talk about that once in a while too. She said it's common, or it was when she was there, in CA to see someone eating their breakfast salad and putting on makeup between bites, and still driving on the Interstate. I agree... *boggle*

Goodness, your business plan sounds like you've put a lot of work into it. I'm definitely impressed!! I REALLY hope it brings you the riches you desire. *cheers*
