    Cleared Again

The social worker just left. As usual, we chatted about what we were reported for (this time it was the police from last night, who saw Littlebit's dinner dish on the floor "food left out" because we had left the house for work while she was still finishing her dinner and the girls had forgotten to put it away, and the fact that both girls were literally filthy because they had been digging in the dirt all day yesterday and were slated for a bath this morning because it was too close to bedtime for a bath last night when they came in from digging) *smile*

They have to report any possible problems, though, so I'm not upset with them. Plus, I got to have a nice friendly social type chat with with the social worker, and as a result, not only is she not worried about the kids, but she's probably going to join Freecycle(tm) when she gets off of work. *laugh*

I told her that she was welcome to come back by in a couple of months for tea and a chat so she could see how the neighborhood beautification project was doing. *grin*

The kids were still dirtballs when she arrived, but they were also digging in the dirt again as she came to the door. *laugh* No worries there.

Keebler still hasn't called for us to pick him up at the police station, so I called there to see what's going on. It seems that the judge for the second warrant hasn't had a chance to see him yet, and it may be tomorrow before he gets to be seen. I'm torn between wanting to bail him out so he can come home and saving the money, and assuring that he will get court date quickly by leaving him in there. They are so expedicous about getting one seen when one are actually IN the jail. Outside of the jail, he'd have to wait a week or two to see the judge, and even then, it would be on someone else's schedule. I'd hate to have to miss a camping trip or something fun & educational because I had to drive him to court. *ponder* On second thought, I think I'll just leave him in there. He'll likely meet some interesting folks, come home with some good stories, and some time away from the kids might do him a bit of good too. *smile* Ah, logic, it makes things so much easier. *smile*

Live is complicated sometimes. Good, but complicated.
