Happy Birthday To Me!

Another year older, I take a moment to look back on the past year. Mistakes were made, lessons were learned, and old friends were reunited in solidarity. We have all continued to grow as individuals, and as a cohesive family unit, and things just keep getting better.

The kids worked together to make me a little birthday party, which was really fun for everyone involved, and included a paper crown, paper bracelets, and their hand drawn pin-the-bumper-on-the Eeyore-car game. So sweet and thoughtful. Keebler helped the girls make me a cake last night, and made me all-natural blueberry muffins to go with my breakfast this morning, and Faith took both the girls to church for the evening so that Keeb & I could go out for a while.

Onward and upward, a new year looms brightly on the horizon.
