    Missouri Gubernatorial Race 2008

Now that we've finished sending out the press releases, I can let you in on a little something I've not mentioned here. These last few weeks, my blogging has been a bit lackluster, and now I can dish the scoop, as it were. *smile*

I am running for Governor of Missouri in the 2008 election. I'm not going to spend a lot of time talking politics here, but there will likely be a little more on the daily ins and outs of a campaign now that I've shared the exciting news with you.

You can see my campaign website by visiting http://www.governoranderson.com

There is still much to be done, and a couple of news outlets have already picked up on the story, but I wanted to be one of the first places you heard the news.

Of course we wish you the best of luck with your campaign and hopefully an election.

You Go Girl! Way to step up for what you believe. Good luck from across the state line in KS!

    Anon,
Yes, a good many learned of my candidacy before I registered for ballot access and sent out the press releases. *agree*

Very few, however, were going to report on it until all of the paperwork was in order.

Hence my statement that I wished to be "one of the first places you heard the news", and not "the first". *smile*

If you need a lieutenant governor, let me know. Or at least let me bounce some ideas off you. The solution for the economy slump is right at our fingertips. Email me and I'll provide a phone number, if you like. What with school and the Sexy Lady's work, trips to Springpatch aren't exactly regular occurrences.
