    Sick and Tired

Not a lot to write about today. I've been seriously ill for most of the day, so I canceled all of our plans and turned off my phone. Can't keep much nutrition in me, so I've settled for vitamin pills and tummy tamers taken with teeny sips of flat lemon-lime cola at semi-regular intervals.

I did manage to customize the templates for my Cre8Buzz and MySpace profiles though. It was a bit daunting, as I previously knew nothing about CSS, but I ended up with something I can live with for now, even if they do look suspiciously similar to one another.

Dropped by The Wayback Machine as well, and gathered up all of my old photos and text from the ancient website so that mayhaps I can use those things to help in salvaging my business.

Really, I think that's enough for one day when I feel like this.

So tired, time for another nap.

I am a participant in NaBloPoMo.

Ooooh, I keep meaning to try my hadn at CSS, but I'd rather be able to sit and focus on it, rther than snippets of time here and there. So God knows when I'll be abel to do it, lol.

I'm sorry that you're not feeling well. Well done for taking the time for yourself and giving your body a chance to recover from whatever nasty is getting at it.

Thank you for the compliment by the way, although I'll admit it's none of my own work yet!

Get well soon honey. x x

I take a multi vitamin. Why shouldn't they be taken?

Rambleman, Moosie just found out that most vitamins have near-toxic levels of nutrients in them. I assuaged a bit of her fears by letting her know that a maximum of 30% of the ingredients in all vitamin pills are absorbed into the system.

Even those pills that have 300% of the RDA of a nutrient, still only absorb into the body as a maximum of 100% RDA of that substance. (I wouldn't take something that said it had 3x the max dosage anyway, but still...)

Even more ridiculous is the fact that most multivitamins contain the one nutrient that should be taken separately as it block the uptake (absorption) of most other vitamins.

Really, if a supplement is to be taken, it should only be for what the diet is lacking in or the body is suffering a deficiency of.

Though, it IS much safer and healthier to just get your vitamins and minerals from your (preferably raw) food.

Which reminds me, I need to get you some of that red salt...
