    Safety Ninja On Patrol

Dropped the eldest at her new class today and went to the library, but she failed to call me when she got to her classroom like I'd told her to, so I went back and checked on her.

I walked up to the door, was approached by the teacher, then walked straight up to Ladybug and behind her just as she popped a piece of orange icing (red #40 included free of charge!) into her mouth. I leaned down and whispered in her ear "spit it out now". I think she was dumbfounded, because she just looked at me in shock. Nothing more, just shock. *laugh* She hadn't seen me, and I definitely wasn't hiding!

I had to tell her again before the goo left her mouth, then inform her that I hadn't received her call she was supposed to have given me when she had found her classroom, and that she was to pick off and not eat the icing on her treat, and couldn't have the candy she had been given. She replied that she had called, once, and it didn't ring. Whatever happened to trying again? *grr*

After her class was over, she called me to let me know, but by the time I got there, a mere 3 minutes later, she had hopped into someone else's car without my permission (a friend, but still, there are these rules for a reason, and there will be no loopholes). Needless to say, she got quite the talk about going into anyone's vehicle whatsoever without my prior and express permission while we drove to her next event.

Yep, I am the 1337 safety ninja. Ph34r m3! *snort*

Still working on creating the goodies I am contributing to the Halloween parties we'll be attending these next few days, bought cutesy t-shirts for everyone to wear for the holiday because I know we won't get any of the storage stuff unpacked from my mother's garage in time, even if we made my mother's driveway look like a war zone to do it. But hey, it gives us the chance to do a couple new crafts, right? *grin*

Gotta look on the bright side.

Good thing you got there in time to stop her from having any problems with that candy. Good job Ms. Ninja! :-) Hope you have a great Halloween/Samhain.
