    Garden Faerie's Boon

Several days ago, we were blessed , and directed to a lovely find of a lot of sturdy plastic containers that were used to store non-toxic soaps, and many beautiful Styrofoam coolers that we were able to rescue from the landfill for another use before they find their final resting place. The coolers came with a fantastic bonus of reusable ready-ice type cooling sacks, and we were also lucky enough to score several tomato cages. Woohoo!

Needless to say, the last couple of days have been spent cutting, washing, sanitizing, and planning for the use of our newly discovered wealth. The plastic barrels will be used for water catchment, and rooftop planters, while the coolers will be used for storage containers, giveaway camping coolers for gatherings, and a type of thermally-stable vermicomposting bin that I will be testing this coming year.

Cool find for you all. Good luck this year on the garden. Storm has started getting all the stuff he will need this year also. So good luck.
