    Our Halloween

We put out candy, treats, cakes and other foods for the spirits on All Hallow's Eve and went Trick or Treating with friends.

On the advice of a friend, we went to a new neighborhood this year, closer to our house, and much friendlier. It was very much like the idyllic scenes you see on TV with kids and parents running up and down the streets, nobody stepping in anyone's grass, and every house decorated and handing out candy. It was a complete blast!
Keebler got some really fun pictures of us all waiting for candy, me "calling for more pixie dust" as he called the photo, and I got a fun shot of him in costume as an urban Faun.
Despite the pantyhose, as the temperature dropped ever closer to freezing after our first street, we were forced to return home for another layer and a potty break.
Our friend Faithb wrote a beautiful and moving post on her blog about our shared adventures as well.

Later on, we stopped by our regular neighborhood and got in a few more houses before some of the kids started getting tired, and we called it quits. It was a very good Halloween.

And she ain't never had too much fun. *chuckle*

Last night we went out to Applebees and Keebler left the camera there, hanging from a chair. *sigh* Panic set in, big time, no camera, no pictures, no Halloween post...

But all is well now. The camera has been recovered, life is good, and the post finally happened as scheduled (if a bit later than planned.) *smile*

I hope you had a great Halloween too!
